Helpful Information:
This is by far our most expensive range of hand made grilles due to the quality of materials and the labour involved in manufacture.
The biggest factor that affects pricing for this product is aperture size. The smaller the aperture, the more material and labour is involved in manufacture. Prices can therefore vary considerably upon this choice.
The second biggest factor that affects pricing for this product is adding a plating or treatment finish to the brass. This will also increase delivery timescales.
The reeded design of woven metal is more expensive than plain.

Additional Information - General Technical, Construction and Fitting:
- Symmetry / Alignment: Interwoven grilles are manufactured symmetrically about the horizontal and vertical centre lines. Same design grilles will therefore pattern match when fitted adjacent to each other along the same centre line (when manufactured on the same order).
- Displayable Sides: This product has only one displayable facing side.
- Sizing: Your decorative grille will be manufactured to the size requested. We do not add any additional amount to fix through at the edges to secure behind your opening. You will need to include this in your required dimensions. (We would recommend approx. 10 to 15mm all around, in a typical application.)
- Size Tolerances: Grilles are manufactured to a tolerance of +/- 2mm per supplied dimension.
- Depth: The depth of this grille at the edge, is approx. 3mm.
- Installation: To install, simply use a small screw and washer though the backing mesh at the rear edge, at approx. 40mm intervals. There is no need to rebate the grille behind the opening unless the rear will be visible and you wish to provide a neater finish. You may however, fit how you wish. No fixings, beading or framing is supplied. Grille edges are left as "raw" cut edges and are not intended for display.
- Construction: Interwoven grilles are hand woven and fixed with solder at the edges to secure the weave. If a backing mesh is chosen, this will be attached by solder to the rear but in some circumstances glued depending on the metals chosen.
Finishes Note: Some finishes are applied by hand and therefore some variation
may occur from our images, examples and orders placed at different times.
- Clear Lacquering: All natural brass grilles are sprayed with a fine clear lacquer to resist tarnishing and maintain appearance unless specifically requested otherwise. (This can be noted in the Comments box of our order form)
